Little Miss J

We had Julip's newborn pictures schedule for 5 days after her due date {which was Wednesday}, luckily the photographer {Jasmin Chen} worked us in 3 weeks early so we could get them when she was only 6 days old.

Some of my favorite newborn pictures of Abram's are the ones where there is nothing covering his head so I avoided buying hats for her. I wanted a simple look, and honestly I hadn't finished getting everything bought and decided on for the pics when she arrived so we just kind of winged it. I threw in some pearls in honor of her middle name and my granny, and used some of the headbands I had purchased from Etsy. 

Every time we tried to wrap her in something she would potty on us so she was pretty much in her birthday suit the entire time. I'm glad I hadn't gotten the chance to buy something.

Her nursery was partially done so there are only a few pictures in there. I had literally ordered her crib sheets, roman shade, and changing pad cover the day before I went into labor. They ALL arrived the day after the shoot..NO JOKE...a total test of my type A/ planning personality. 

 Regardless of the lack of planning, we absolutely love the way they all turned out!
